How we make money

We're independent and not a claim agency. Claiming direct is free; if you choose an agency through a link here we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes our verdict. Claim agencies charge a success fee, typically 15–35% of the payout.

That’s why every verdict shows the free do-it-yourself route first: contact the airline, cite the regulation, and escalate to the regulator if refused. Using an agency is optional and only worth it if you’d rather not do the paperwork.
